were they hoping to have a weak Dean to deal with in November but went overboard with their "latte" ads. Now its stop Kerry at all costs. Either way, the Repubs stratergy will be to divide Democrats. If Kerry gets the nomination, the GOP will run ads that will turn off Dean voters and convince them to stay home. If Dean wins, the GOP will run ads so that Kerry voters stay home, If Clark wins etc.

Seriously, no disrespect intended, Senator Kerry served well and sacrified (more than I've done), but 4 years as a lieutenant in Vietnam, 30 years ago, doesn't translate to military or national security experience.

We can expect Kerry to be hit HARD on the difference between his experience and that of "The Bush Administration." You see, unfortunately, it's not going to be a comparison between Senator Kerry and AWOL; the ROG will pull in Rumsfeld, Powell, etc, and will claim that it's better to stick with the team you've got in -- when you're at war.

And, what do you know, they announce today that they're ramping up for going back into Afghanistan.

Kerry needs to be ready to hit back with:

• We defeated the Taliban and uprooted Al Qaeda and OBL back in December of 2001, just 3 months after 9/11;
  
• We're just now getting around to sending troops in after Osama, TWO FUCKING YEARS later?!?
  
• If we think that this military effort will work now, two years later, why didn't we do it back in 2001 -- rather than giving OBL & Al Qaeda 2 years to raise additional monies, gain add'l support, and build & prepare defenses, etc?
  
• The Iraq was was elective, and the Administration LIED to the American people to drag us into it;
  
• The Iraq war negligently diverted our attention and needed resources away from the war against terrorism.
  

This administration MUST be held accountable.
