4. I like the Colbert Report's mockery a little better.

But this is a pretty fair attempt. The part with "O'Lielly" telling the "soldier" there only being two types of Muslims: Islam and Hindu was pretty funny.

Newsflash: The Colbert Report does the same and is consitently funny and intelligent and breaks new satirical ground.

9. I think SNL does too many impressions and not enough satire.

That's why it's not as funny as TDS or The Colbert Report, at least in the political sketches. Not that the impressions are bad all the time, but I'd rather see more original stuff.

the writing in which O'Reilly was completely ignorant didn't get to his main problem, which is his smearing of the ACLU and Al Franken, etc.

They have always been hard on Bush, starting shortly after the 2000 election with that inaugural address skit. In fact, I cannot not remember a single skit in which they didn't ridicule him.
