Just got back from a John Kerry rally
It was rockin! A union worker gave me his "Electrical Workers for Kerry" sign and when I gave it to Kerry to sign he laughed at me and my friends and held it up. Gave a very good speech, attacked Bush on No Child Left Behind, War on Terrorism, and the whole prancing around on a flight deck. I've now officially moved to ABB. I was supposed to go see Edwards tonight as well...but the venue was 21 and over :( Anyway, I hope to get pics up soon if I can find somewhere to host them...

15. Exactly, where was this outspoken critic of Bush when we needed
him? For the last three years . . .

He got religion now though . . .

13. not quite fair
if Bush and the Repugs had fully funded NCLB like they promised, it would not be wrecking so much horror on the schools.

17. Probably he was backing up Kennedy who was a cosponsor of NCLB
Edited on Wed Jan-28-04 08:53 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
and no doubt Kennedy convinced him of the merits. Didn't Kennedy also partially author NCLB? Of course Bush is the one who is at fault in failing to fund NCLB, along with education in general. Kerry will fully fund NCLB, and has also said emphatically he will fully fund special needs education. And specifically on reforming NCLB he wants to change the punitive aspects of the testing, and the 'One Size Fits All' problems, in part by changing the definition of 'Adequate Yearly Progress'.

10. Kerry attacking himself indirectly?
How can Kerry attack George Bush on two items that he voted for? This is the problem with having Kerry as the nominee.

14. He really said, "Prancing around the flight deck?!?"...
my respect for Kerry drops by the hour....that is Wes Clark's line!! He keeps stealing them! If he wins the nomination I will have to get loaded to vote for him. Clark's the real deal, as Kerry would say.... :puke:
