5. Both. I scored 100% with Kucinich on that quiz we had
a couple of days ago. But I support the nominee whom I think can best beat bush. And that is John Edwards, IMO.

8. I am an independent
But hope that Kerry wins the democratic nomination. I just seem to agree with more then the other candidates. But I believe that any of them can beat Bush. Bush just doesn't make any sense any more.

11. I'm a lifelong Democrat, never voted Republican, never will,
because on the issues, the Democratic party represents me.

14. I support Democrats
And I want a Democrat in the White House who has always supported the issues I care about. I see no reason to get Bush out just to put a compromising centrist in. That's why I'm for John Kerry. He supports sensible reforms, but doesn't just jump on whatever right wing bandwagon the way some Democrats did in the 90's.

18. democrat, small "d"
I support democratic principles. That means, therefore, I'm against Bush. It also means I'm sometimes against the Democrats too.

Are Southern Democrats (close to but not quite Zell Miller) still accepted as Democrats around here?

You can't separate the two. You need some power to be able to effect any change at all.
