How Did Novac Know Dean Had Money Problems
I started a thread about a week ago about Novac saying Dean was having money problems and today we seem to be finding this is true.

Please forgive me for asking this, How did Novac, a GOP shill, know this about Dean?

Who informed him?

This is an honest question and I am hoping there's just a simple answer that I was too :dunce: to understand.

1. there are few secrets on the campaign trail I'd imagine
and Dean's campaign is so large you'd have to figure someone is a mole or a leaker of info

3. Does Anyone Suppose EVERY Campaign Has Info Like That
which no one is reporting yet? Maybe not money, but something?

2. My guess: That story from Iowa about the unpaid deli bill.
Little things like that can raise eyebrows.

7. It has at Free Republic
and since they are talking about it, they probably saw the story at a RW site. Consider the possibility that it's someone's dirty trick.

4. It's easy to find out how much Dean has spent...
and all you have to do total the costs of commercial buys in specific markets, number of paid staffers, etc.
All campaigns have to file monthly and quarterly reports, which are public docs.

5. There are reporters with all of the campaigns
When the staff goes from eating out at good restaurants to going to the drive-thru at McDonald's they can put two and two together.

9. Very true
I learned a LONG time ago which political columnists to read and which to ignore. Novak knows his stuff and we all read many things in his column (especially the weekend column of tidbits) that, we find out a week or two later, was right on target. Forget his point-of-view, if you want to get the inside skinny - better read Novak.

10. That's true. Novak received info
from Frist's staffers, after they illegally hacked into Democratic files. So if you don't mind reading the opinions of someone with no moral compass whatsoever, you might find a grain of truth in it.

11. He's been a political reporter for over 40 years.

Just because he is an evil, grinning, death's-head doesn't mean he's imcompetent at his job.
