Here's a strategy the Dems could use to win

I was listening to the radio and heard Paul Hackett for a few minutes, discussing his platform for his run for Senate. It occurred to me that ALL HE HAS TO DO TO WIN is have an "R" next to his name on the ballot!!

Seriously, let's think about this (not that it's a new idea, I'm sure, but it's time may have come). We know that Dems tend to be MUCH more educated and so could withstand actually reading about the candidates, whereas the repubs are nearly completely unified in their liklihood of just voting the party line.

I wonder if that's how so many DINOs have gotten into power. Have the repubs already employed this strategy?

Hell, I'd vote for a "R" candidate if I was confident of what he really stood for.

1. Frankly, it shouldn't matter if he has a damn "R" or a "D" behind his name

The point that matters is what the hell does that man stand for? What are his principles? What will he fight for? THAT is what counts. What counts is that he is an American first, a Democrat or Republican second. I believe this is what counts with most people.

Think about the uneducated people who vote the party ticket. That's what I'm talking about.

should legally change their names to include an (R) at the end.
If we can't get the public to vote correctly with their intelligence may as well do it with trickery.

5. It would be better if some silly people

got it out of their think heads that democrats are bad and republicans are good. We don't need to trick anyone. We have lots of good issues that people care about. We just need to keep the repukes from tricking everyone by exposing what they really stand for.
