Letter to My Republican Representative

Mr. Lewis...

Having recently moved to the Crestline area, I had no idea who my Representative was or that this person is a Republican.

I want to make it perfectly clear that I am completely disgusted with the Bush Administration and the direction our country is taking. I cannot think of a single positive accomplishment made on behalf of our country by this administration. Can you?

Between the corruption, lies, unjustified war, the economy, torture, incompetence during Katrina, health care, lack of leadership, etc.etc.etc. - I could go on and on. This Administration is a complete and total disaster making Bush the worst president in my lifetime and probably in American history.

Many of us are very upset and have had enough.

You, sir, must stand up and express your complete dissatisfaction with the direction our country is taking. I hope that you will have the courage and conviction to face the reality that so many others refuse to face.

Please, sir. I beg you to make a stand on behalf of your constituents.

...your Repub Rep.....here, a little NW of you, my Repub Rep sends back a form letter:

"Thank you for your interest and support".....This letter comes to you...NO MATTER WHAT.

You could tell the old coot to jump off a bridge and you get the "Thank you for your interest and support" letter...UPOS

4. Great Letter

I live in Texas, so you can see I have the same problem. I have gotten more and more direct in my letters to my "representatives" and still get either no response or the typical I-will-be-sure-to-keep-your-views-in-mind bs. They are sycophants, cowards, and incapable of independent thought. Good luck to us all!
