2. Yes, perjury *technically* is a crime.

As is murder, treason, desertion, etc. etc.

3. Perjury is not a "technicality"
Edited on Sun Oct-23-05 08:08 PM by Straight Shooter
It is a serious crime. It is an offense to our system of justice. If witnesses cannot be relied upon to tell the truth, which is the very foundation of justice, then the walls come a'tumbling down.

Furthermore, Al Capone got busted for what he thought was a technicality but the Feds called it "tax evasion," yet we all know his crimes were far worse. KBH should be grateful that the charges haven't yet morphed into the realm of war criminal.

5. LOL. Hypocites. We all know Clinton was impeached for perjury.
It's nice to that it's just some "technicality" when the shoe is on the other foot.

8. Did KB Hutchinson escape on a technicality?
Hutchinson may have escaped legal perils on a technicality with the same lawyer that is now defending Delay. Is there a link somewhere?

10. Again, I look forward to Repugs claiming perjury is not a crime
Most people, except for hard core freeps, are going to be repulsed by that.

However, I think Fitz has a big case. A real big case.

more than lying to the Grand Jury.

For me that will not have been worth the trouble.

16. I still am trying to find out about her "Weather Modification Bill" she
sponsored, and I still can't get answers from her office.

I guess perjury is just a technicality to her.

Some habits are just tougher to break than others, arent they?

17. She is merely another hypocritical RW moron.
Why is she on TV so often. Does the RW Corp Media really think that she is a good rep for the RW?

21. In the hags own words:
Edited on Mon Oct-24-05 11:15 AM by caligirl
"I do not hold the view of our Constitution that there must be an actual, indictable crime in order for an act of a public officer to be impeachable. It is clear to this Senator that there are, indeed, circumstances, short of a felony criminal offense, that would justify the removal of a public officer from office, including the President of the United States. Manifest injury to the Office of the President, to our Nation and to the American people and gross abuse of trust and of public office clearly can reach the level of intensity that would justify the impeachment and removal of a leader." FEB 17, 1999 HER OWN
WORDS with regard to Clinton. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alec-baldwin/what-happened-to-the-part_b_9402.html

Sent this in after reading it to one of her staffers on the phone.

Can you say "FLIP FLOPPER"
