When would you say was the last time the Democratic Party.....
....received some REALLLLLY good news?

I mean significant =GOOD= news that directly relates to the party..

When I try to think of something.. for some reason my mind drifts back to the day that Jeffords became an Independent and we regained majority of the Senate.

Our in-box is chaulk full of pending events that could create major MOJO.. but still- they're all pending for now..

Just outta curiosity, how long ago would you say it was since Democrats had some incredibly good news.. because I know I must be spacing out some major good news..

Feels like that old Doors sang: "I've been down so long, it feels like up to me"

1. Here is some good news
Edited on Sat Oct-22-05 09:59 PM by MissWaverly
Recent Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) polling shows that seven Republican members would be easily defeated if their reelection took place today, the committee’s chairman told House Democrats yesterday at a closed-door meeting.

While Rep. Rahm Emanuel (Ill.) did not name the members, who are from districts “around the country,” he said all polled at 43 percent or less when voters were asked if they would vote today to reelect their congressional representative, sources at the meeting told The Hill.

3. Thanks
Also I noticed that the MSM has changed, news not spin is now being reported even Fox News is showing GWB's low poll ratings, I think that this is also good news for the Dems.
