Does anyone know what was in that suspicious package, yesterday?

The one in a van parked near the Capitol. Or was it just another scare tactic?

Whenever Bush's ratings tank or more corruption in the misadministration, the White House scripts "hysterics" for political effect!

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones you have to concentrate on." -- G.W. Bush

The terror alerts are manufactured!

2. Probably just another shipment of condoms for the Capitol.
The bad news is coming so fast these days that they need to manufacture more and more terralerts just to keep up.

8. On the local news here yesterday
They said one of the men involved in the situation walked up to the police and told him he had a bomb in the car.

But they said they really don't think there was one. They ended up imploding the package anyway.

9. I think the cops blew up the car --
this was on MSNBC's "Connected" in a snip I saw last night. Whether there was bomb in the car, or they just blew it up as a "precaution," dunno.

14. Read about "The Nexus of Politics and Terror "
by Keith Olbermann

Scroll down. there is also a video to click on.

Keith Olbermann focuses on terror alerts over the past several years. Keith pulls together the political climate at the time of the alerts and allows viewers to determine for themselves if there is a political connection.

Very, very interesting! :applause:

15. nothing was blown up
if the rumor mill is correct, a USCP bomb dog 'hit' on a USCP vehicle. It turns out that the vehicle had been parked at the firing range all week. The dog smelled the residue, and did as it was trained. Once they put 2&2 together, everyone went home.

of course this is just the rumor.

Those crazy Floridians

The driver was taken to a Washington hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, while the other man, who identified himself to reporters as Sean Stover, was questioned and released.

Stover said he was hitchhiking Thursday in Daytona Beach, Fla., when the driver picked him up. When they got to Washington, the driver "claimed he was best friends with the president," Stover said.

They parked the car and "he got out and claimed he was gonna go in the White House or something. That's all I know."

"We were able to go in and safely examine the package in question, and it contained inert materials, nothing of any danger," Assistant U.S. Capitol Police Chief James Rohan said.

She left them in a suspicious looking box, in the back seat of her car...they were from one of her shopping trips in NYC...and her closet is so full...there was no room for them.
