DeLay's wanting another judge now...asking for a republican
How arrogant is this?

Since when do criminal defendants get to hand select their judge?

1. So he proudly flaunts his "Democrat" lawyer, but demands a "Republican"
judge?

Puh-leeez.

5. 'm beginning to think...If he gets his wish....they lose BIGGER!
People are waking up.

And they're getting pissed.

A little more evidence of republican sliminess would really tip the scale.

3. Exactly. Does DeLay wish to tear apart our judicial system?
Does he want to tear this country apart by saying judges are so partisan that one cannot get a fair hearing if the judge is of a different political party? He should be labeled a traitor for even implying this. He is trying to shred the very fabric of this nation.

4. Hope they can find one that didn't contribute to TRIMPAC
I mean that would be a REAL conflict of interest

6. Can you imagine this scenario?
I can almost hear the RW howl when a young woman wanting the right to have an abortion asks for a Dem judge.

Go right ahead and set some precedents...go right ahead.

7. Exactly. DeLay is a traitor to our judicial system
He's ripping it apart by saying partisanship is more important than the rule of the law. He is indeed a traitor to our legal system and to our country.

15. I gave this some thought
If your Congressperson, say Nancy Pelosi were indicted, would you be disturbed if the presiding Judge was a contributor to Falwell or Robertson?
