In light of the fact that Bush has THREATENED TO VETO the new energy bill, simply because of the McCain Amendment outlawing torture of American prisoners, don't the attorneys for the so called "bad apples" have a whole new defense available to them?

This veto threat amounts to NEW EVIDENCE that, indeed, the order for torture came right from the top...the Commander in Chief....which DUers knew from the git-go.

This veto threat is NEW and damnable evidence, IMHO, and I think they should USE THIS AS A DEFENSE in those trials.

The biggest bad apple of them all is the one who sanctions this behavior, and he has now outed himself, PUBLICLY, by his statements.

2. Thanks, Vincardog!
It just seems like boosh is showing himself for who he really is, more and more every day. I think those who took the blame for him should get a second shot at it.

What they did was wrong, and they shouldn't have done it. But who can doubt anymore that what they had been saying was true: they were doing what they were told to do, and what they were told would help us win the war.

3. Military law.
It is settled. No new trials as I understand matters.

4. There's no do-overs when new evidence comes to the fore?
That sucks, if it's true. What kind of justice can be served?

7. Bush got off a lot cheaper, and he was the one who set her up.
He set them ALL up, and is STILL setting them up.

Boosh needs to go on trial for war crimes, and Rummy needs to go with him.

8. Yes, but where were the officers who ordered this?
And the officers who gave those officers the orders?

Responsibility for that goes right to the top.
