Know what bugs me about the RWingers?
They all act so GD smug and and powerful and "smart".

All they are is ROTTEN.

It doesn't take BRAINS or STRENGTH or even COURAGE to do what you DO, you REPUBLICAN CRETINS.

All it takes is a LACK OF MORAL CHARACTER.

Sadly for Democrats, it's not something we can CONTROL. You either HAVE a conscience, or you DON'T.

6. I know you did. My attention span isn't very long tonight.
I have my own list of the most hated things about them. I'll share 'em some time.

:hi:

4. There is one thing that will shock them into reality.
An admission of guilt from George Bush, Cheney, Rove and even Newt Gingrich.

If those people would come out and admit, like Rush Limbaugh admitted, that they lied and cheated in order to get the upper hand.

But can you imagine a Republican sacrificing for the good of this country?

9. You mean like Ralph Reed did?

{snip}

Right wingers always want everything both ways, and their way. They don't even see fairness as a virtue. They want to "win" at all costs, even if it means cheating, lying and betraying every principle they claim to support. Bush's top campaign official for the Southeast - one Ralph Reed formerly of the Christian Coalition - wrote in his book that it's OK to lie and deceive to further right wing aims. "Bush's Brain" Karl Rove instructed Republicans to "run on the war" even while Bush was swearing to Congress and the American people he was doing everything he could to avoid war.

{snip}

P.S. The above is worth a read.

10. And Ted Olson too.
He was the one that gave the advise to run the Vince Foster story, even though he didn't believe there was truth to it.

So now we have:

Rush Limbaugh
Ralph Reed
Ted Olson.

I might collect the exact quotes because I believe the conspiracy that Fitzgerald is uncovering will be the first of many.

14. Good idea. And while you are collecting quotes, save this one too:
Edited on Fri Oct-07-05 11:33 PM by Carolab
This quotation expresses what I mean by patriotic dissent:

The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly as necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right.

Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else.

- President Theodore Roosevelt, 1912

5. It's all about 'attitude.'
Rush preaches this ALL the time: Be smug. Know you're right. Be cheerfully self-righteous. Give no quarter, for anything, ever... because you don't have to because you have the right attitude.

Barbara Ehrenreich says much the same thing in "Bait and Switch." Haven't read it, heard an interview. She says in the white-collar world, it's all about attitude.

This is one of the oldest ruling class scams there is.

7. I really dig Barbara Ehrenreich. I hadn't heard this, though.
I often asked myself if I ran around acting all smug like they do, and gave it right back to them, would they drop the act?

12. It's not an act!
Challenge their cultivated, self-righteous smugness and that's when they get mean and start all their eliminationist talk.

Edited on Fri Oct-07-05 10:55 PM by YOY
Most RWers i've met think Rush Limbaugh is a respectable fellow enlightening the public for the sake of goodness. (at 36$ million a year.)

They also think Bill O'Reiley has some sort of distinguished journalism career (Hard Copy) on his belt.

13. RWingers
Most RWingers like their opinions served to them. They don't want to think. O'Reilly and Limbauh will tell them what they should believe.

17. To these self-righteous punks...
the ends justify the means. They wouldn't know intelligence or conscience if it turned around and slapped them in the face. They are as stupid as Spongebob Squarepants, but worse - to them, every day is "opposite day", say one thing but mean another.

Even their most faithful followers are just stupider, paler copies of them who don't even know that they will not be included in the final rapture. They just don't get it.

What can you say about a group whose major military hero is an AWOL deserter, whose major moral authority is a bigoted compulsive gambler, and whose main religious leader advocates child and animal abuse? Hell, I don't know what you can say about them - not anything positive, anyway.

They don't "believe" that lying, committing crimes or gathering ill-gotten gains are immoral. Their twisted philosophy is that once you agree to their bigoted "Christian" rules, you automatically are granted a conscience, and it can't be taken away from you. Sort of like a tax cut.

Too bad there isn't a literal hell - these crusty nuggets of cowardly avarice really deserve to be there. And good thing I'm not a good "Christian" - because right now I'm feeling just a tad judgmental.

But really, I'm just getting warmed up. Don't get me started.

18. How they regurgitate propaganda with out thinking?
Liberals love this country and the freedom it represents.Individual freedom and the rule of law and governance by the people and for the people.

Radicalrighties are so willing to give it all away and become wingbots. hah hah funny they do this all on their paltry wingbot income serving the multinationals of this world and promoting the one thing they hate: one world order.

The rich get super-richer and the wing bots keep losing jobs. Hellooo?
