Harriet Miers
Hello, this is Harriet Miers. I am Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy at the White House, and I am delighted to be here to answer your questions this Friday afternoon. This is always a great weekend because we will all get an extra hour of sleep Saturday night. And given all that is going on, I have to say, we here at the White House are looking forward to that extra hour!

1. I'd read this if I weren't so darn busy...
...poking my eyes out with a sharp stick.

2. Well, that made me ill.
Just when I think they have done all that they could do to amaze me they do it again.

This nomination has no precedent that I am aware of. A policy wonk with NO, ZERO, ZILCH, bench experience gets nominated to the highest court on the land? Why not just nominate Karl Rove or Karen Hughes? Has anyone ever nominated someone out of their own administration? Why can't she be rejected on experience alone? How can a propaganda cheerleader be an acceptable nominee? In this fake question and answer farce all she did was spout admin lies and spin.

The wall between politics and policy are blurred beyond distinction to these people. This nomination is a spit in the face of the Supreme Court. It disrespects the court and the Constitution. Give me a qualified educated RW zealot of a judge before this.
