Best way to pick a leader.
Of any two candidates, which one would you yourself want to be like?

... or a corollary

Of any two candidates, which one would you most want your kid to be like?

The Repubs successfully made "want to have a beer with" a criterion. It is a brilliant way of lowering standards, because it asks us to choose a clown (Junior for example) and it uses the word "beer" in a sentence. But I would argue the above criteria are better.

Are there others, possibly more succinct and easy to apply?

1. FWIW-I think the frame "who would you want your kid to be like?" goes
to the cerebral cortex. It's powerful to invoke "the kids" on an issue.
