Actual conversation I had at work
This is typical, I think, of the 30 odd percent that still support the Chimp.

I am a male, have hair down my back, and the conversation was about "hippies" (surprise):hippie: . He was suggesting that there are still hippies.

<snip>

Me: There are no hippies really these days. The real ones moved to the country and started off-the-grid organic farm homesteads, a long time ago.

He: Oh yeah there are and they are now running the country.

Me: Yeah right...I'm sure people like Wolfowitz were hippies. :sarcasm:

He: Who's Wolfowitz?

========================================

This idiot actually believes that our government is really controlled by some ex hippies and that there is this powerful liberal elite at the controls. Probably based out of Hollywood.
He also said the Clinton administration was the most corrupt in our history.

Jeezus how do people get so damn stupid?

:mad:

1. The information highway is feeding them their shill
They believe that they are being given the truth and they look no further than Limbaugh, O'liely and Savage.

2. Who's Wolfowitz? haha!
At least the informed Republicans are quick to say that the neocons were once supported by Democrats.

My favorite line dropper is, "I just can't believe the number of people who vote Republican who never have even heard of Grover Norquist."

4. clues on sale on eBay 3/$1
..Mr. "Who's Wolfowitz" ought to get a few before spouting off about politics or government. He obviously has his head crammed so far up his rear end he needs a porthole installed in his navel to see where he's walking.

What an idiot. Typical bu$hvoter.

Clueless. Oblivious.

At least their stupidity is entertaining, even if dangerous.

5. People forget over 1000 were investigated/indicted from the Reagan admin
The final toll will be that Bush's "administration" far exceeds that, especially in the indictment category, assuming responsible people are in positions to investigate.

10. Response:
Your not knowing who Paul Wolfowitz is means that your 'opinion' about our government is about as valid as your 'opinion' as to The Maldacena Conjecture as it relates to the physics of M-theory.

I'm sick to death of people who think that their uninformed opinions are worth a damn.

Shred:

Well, you are ruining the country if.... "you want to coexist peacefully with fish." All the fish on the planet should heed my warning. Shred has a fishing pole, a boat, long hair and is out to get you.

The boob you work with needs a good ass kicking.

I'll come over and help if you want me to.
