Interesting quote from the Frist news article on Yahoo news.
Less than a week ago, a former White House official was arrested in the Abramoff investigation.

For Republicans, the timing couldn't be worse.

"The last thing you needed was a Martha Stewart problem," Marshall Wittman, a one-time conservative activist who now works for the centrist Democratic Leadership Council, said of Frist. "He doesn't even have a good clothing line or a popular television show."

Stewart, the homemaking doyenne, served five months in federal prison for lying to authorities about a stock deal and nearly six months more in home confinement.

Ok let's look at this closely; who the fuck is Marshall Wittman?
"a one-time Conservative activist that now works for the DLC" ?????

Hmmm... A one-time conservative activist working for the DLC? Do you suppose he is still a conservative activist working for the DLC? How many other Conservative activists work for the DLC?

2. Thom Hartmann says
the DLC is the neo-con attempt at infiltrating the dem party. I think he's right.

15. Yes!
For sure. The only way we're going to do that is if we find better person to replace the current DLCers who hold senate and house seats. That's one reason why I'm glad Howard Dean is the DNC chairman. He's a real democrat (even if he is moderate/conservative) and understands this. I definitley think the DLC wants to get rid of the true party. They also like corporations as well.

Resist the DLC, and any of its candidates! I'm telling you... it is a Republican plot to take over the Democratic Party, or at least assimilate us to their ideologies. I will spend every ounce of my energy to resist them and their influence on the electds and the policies of this Party!

10. I was thinking the same thing.
Why the hell do these Democrats use the same advisors or law firms as the Republicans? If they're trying to prove that we belong to a one party country, they're succeeding.

13. I wonder too
This is one reason why I don't trust the DLC as a whole. :\ I think the whole thing with Frist was very fishy. He knew damn well what was going to happen. I betcha Malloy was right and his brother or something called him and told him. The timing is just way too perfect. Wouldn't it be funny if he had to go to jail too?
