US/UK out of Iraq Now!
Why Immediate Withdrawal Makes Sense
by Michael Schwartz

1.The U.S. military is already killing more civilian Iraqis than would likely die in any threatened civil war;

2.The U.S. presence is actually aggravating terrorist (Iraqi-on-Iraqi) violence, not suppressing it;

3.Much of the current terrorist violence would be likely to subside if the U.S. left;

4.The longer the U.S. stays, the more likely that scenarios involving an authentic civil war will prove accurate.

This is the best piece that I have read to date.

1. and yet we still hear calls to "stay the course" from repigs and...
...protestations that "we can't just leave now" from moderate dems, even here on DU. It's madness.

2. Bush/Condi say we were attacked before when showing weakness
So why not show strength, what's the harm?

4. Most Dems say "stay the course."
I feel they say that because they don't know what this article points out. Knowlege of facts about on the ground reality is lacking with most people about most situations.

3. I think the SAS Brits with wigs cruising around in car bombs is
missing in that list...

Oh, well. Won't happen (unless Fitz's got something to show soon) as long as the corrupt PNAC'ers are ruling (against the People's will).

Good article, nonetheless. Makes sense (even more sense if the SAS is included...).

5. Nah
Hate level not high enough yet. Chimp has not acheive desire level of hatred for Americans so still need to stay put to guarentee the need to justified the name Under Seige Always (USA).

Sadly the longterm effect of Iraq on USA cannot be avoided. This mistake make by Chimp is very costly to the US and the whole at large.

The US today is in no position to right the wrong done there. It will be very costly and US just too damn broke under the Chimp raping to Lady Liberty.

Stay or leave dont matter now. Damage done, pain bought paid and delivered. Sad that people dont understand that this war is different. The fact is that the so called terrorist does not need a paycheck and just HATE. Stay if you want, a 100 years from now they still be fighting to get US out. Leave if you want, a 100 years from now they still be trying to get US for the rape of Iraq.

Dumb prick Chimp open a door to hell for everyone.

6. It is pathetic that very few top Dems...
don't explain that 94% of the Insurgency are Iraqis. Out of that 94% I am guesing that at least 60% are fighting against the US/UK attempt to colonize Iraq. Most Dems understand that, right?
