Looking good in 50 states' polls:
Numbers cribbed from a post at freeperville:

God, I wish the election were today. It would be a landslide.

1. Someone should tuck this post away:
To: RWR8189

To determine where to cut funding to cover Katrina and Rita, Bush should takes funds earmarked by state, mulitply it by his approval rating for that state and send them the resulting amount.

Kind of illustrates the mentality of that sick cesspool of hate.

2. That's the way a bully thinks
Reward those that agree with them...never mind the issue of whether or not "they" are right.

7. Good luck to you all - be careful!!
Remember the pepper spray from the coronation, oops, inauguration, bring wipes, wet washcloth or towel in a plastic bag (kudos to someone here, who suggested that.)

9. I don't buy it.
How can Shrub's approval be up in Louisiana and Mississippi?

10. Looks like the polling date was Sept. 5
Maybe the enormity of Bush's incompetence hadn't sunk in -- that and the effected areas were probably unpollable, so only those who were high and dry were questioned.

By my count, if the election were held today, Bush would be receiving only 90 Electoral Votes. I gave him any state where he still had a positive net on approval.

11. Remember that many people have left
those states and that phone service was down for quite a while. In the case of Louisiana, you have a major urban area that has been almost completely vacated - this has to skew the results of the poll.
