When I talk to friends/co-workers about nationalized medicine I hear how awful it is in Canada and GB and one told me about a really grim breast cancer statistic from Canada (I have no link..have not researched this at all) because of (according to her) wait times for mammograms.

Is it working anywhere? Where are the best examples of a system that works?

2. Backdoor method: expand MediCare

And keep expanding it so everyone wants to be covered by it. Counteract the big money of Big Insurance by championing for HEALTH CARE COST CONTAINMENT. But we'd need to build a majority in the legislature, executive and judiciary first.
