Tin foil hat theory of that day RE: the reich/ homeland security
I have been thinking about this for a few days....
These are the pieces to the puzzle:
9/11 is seen as a an opportunity to consolidate and lock themselves into power.
They get curb our liberties (patriot act), frighten us to death (color coded warning system, myths of WMDs), make a bunch of fancy appointments (cronies) and tell us that another terrorist attack is eminent.... but that they are prepared for anything that comes down the pike.
So we go to war, getting americans killed to keep americans from getting killed (?)
The guy even gets re-elected (in part) on the grounds that he is keeping us safer....
meanwhile, back at the "ranch", the people who have been appointed are bushbuddies and just as incompetent as he is (Michael Brown)..... so we really aren't as well prepared as THEY say. BUT they keep their fingers crossed because their homeland security thing is a front, they know that terrorist attack IS NOT eminent and they are hoping that americans won't figure it out until they are out of office. They think "As long as nothing major happens between now and january 2009, it's all gravy! These idjots will never figure it out."
BUT something DID happen. And because nature is a beautiful and terrifying thing, they couldn't use it in anyway to rally the masses like they could when PEOPLE are the culprits.
So now the JIG is up!
We see that their security talk was all hype used to line their own pockets and now we are more poor and less safe..... thanks to them.
Think of all the time and money that could have been used to really protect us.

3. Here's a ball of tinfoil for you
uh, er, the whole world is currently focused on this most recent criminally staged disaster. My present fear: the only way to distract us (i.e. the world) from this is, by some miraculous stroke of fate, divine intervention or serendipity, to have another equally horrifying something happen somewhere in some other part of the world. Something that will turn all eyes off this situation.
Beware. Be very Aware.

6. Yes, I've been worried about this for awhile now, all week in fact.
What better way for them to reinforce their 'terras gonna getcha' scare tactics then to have some other terror attack take place here or abroad against American citizens, then say it's because we (liberals) were all playing the blame game with a natural disaster and took our eyes off the ball, that this happened to us now. We aided and abetted the terra folks with our anti-American behavior and talking about how vulnerable we all are. I wish I couldn't picture them engineering such an atrocity but of course they will do absolutely anything to keep the boy king in power, as we've all seen too much evidence of already. At this point I pray to Patrick Fitzgerald every morning and every night, hurry up with those indictments. Stop these morally bankrupt criminals before they kill again.

7. You must be a mind reader...
Cuase I've benn thinking about, praying about Fitzgerald all this time too....

Keep thinking the make-up of the jury may work in our favor this time:

http://www.blackamericaweb.com/site.aspx/bawnews/leakcase719

Jackie Jones, a black journalism professor at Penn State University who was raised in D.C., said Cooper may have seen a courtroom full of black women and didn’t know what to expect.

Not only do we have predominately Black female jurors, they are INFORMED and conscientious.

"He may have made the assumption that they weren’t focused on national news and the details of the case," Jones told BlackAmericaWeb.com Monday. "The questions they asked may have taken him by surprise, but their questions suggest they are paying a lot closer attention than people think. This was not a stereotypical group of jurors. And women are generally more detailed-oriented."

Cooper’s testimony comes as Republicans are circling the wagons in defense of Rove, while Democrats are calling for Rove’s resignation or, at the least, the revokation of his security clearance.

Jones said most of her female friends and family follow current news events. Her mother, Alice, a longtime D.C. resident, reads newspapers daily and watches television news to stay on top of local, national and international news.

"She and her girlfriends analyze which networks are more reliable and who covers the news best," Jones said. "She pays very close attention to the news."

4. I think you have the bu$h regime figured out to the letter.
But they will never admit failure and never take an ounce of blame, hence the reason Brown is not fired but just removed from the current crisis.

5. Yes and no
because as the NYT article this morning points out, many of the FEMA people are indeed linked to lobbyists for the real looters. The plan is to make a bag of money from this catastrophe. For neo-cons disasters are money-making opportunities. How the democrats, tax payers, citizens amd media in the US respond to the real looting that has already descended in NOLA will define way forward.

I have a suspicion that those unmanned drones that flew over were scanning the scene to see how best to profit ASP.
