Hangin' with Repugs tonight and they are ashamed of Chimpy
Edited on Fri Sep-09-05 07:20 PM by zulchzulu
A little after-work beer swilling and the subject came up about Katrina. None of these people had heard about Pickles calling it "Corrina".

Then I went into how Brownie wasn't doing such a good job...since he got canned from the project. That's when one Repug buddy who has pretty big Repug connections said that 2006 is going to be a bloody year for Repugs geting elected unless they disassociate from Bush. Fat chance, I said. They are parrots and shills that are frightened of the Religious Reich that has commandeered their party.

He and the other two Repugs laughed (with closeted shame) at how Brown was an Arabian horse poopah before he got the Fema gig. What was wrong with Bush, they finally asked...

One Repug brought out the Fixed Newz chestnut about Blanco not declaring an emergency and I quickly swatted him down with the truth. Surprisingly, he seemed to accept the truth.

They are scared about the 2006 prospects. And deep down, I know they are ashamed they actually have to defend Chimpy.

These guys will need a lot of booze before they are informed about PNAC. They haven't a clue.

15. Love it - "one beer at a time..."
Hey, WHATEVER works. Congrats!

Maybe you'll talk to them, and they'll talk to somebody, and they'll talk to somebody, and ... well, you know.

Excellent job!

Wherever I go, I try to remember to urge people to "Visualize IMPEACHMEN!" I get very few arguments. VERY few. One lady responded by saying "I think I'd rather visualize JAIL..." I had very few arguments for her, either.

8. I've talked about how prejudiced and homophobic these people are...
I work with them. I'd love my job and they are merely a distraction. It is interesting to see and hear the inner workings of hateful people who would rather pledge allegience to the Repug Party over America.

If it came down to the Bill of Rights and the Repug party as a choice to survive, they would possibly choose the Elephant.

I have noticed how some have entered into the Land of the Moderate recently. The problem with that is that Bush has to keep outdoing himself as an incompetent failure for these people to eventually see the light.

We don't have much further to go before all is lost in America.

9. Your right on the money jedr...
these fools at work got a living wage from the blood and tears of our parents, now they think they are better than the two(minumum) wage earners struggling to make ends meet.

My father in law (a Roosevelt dem) says "they don't understand what it took to get them there." Energy prices ( Fertilizer, fuel, chemicals) and grain prices are killing them.

10. I suspect that more than a few are hoping to see a change in 2006
They may not publicly say it, but even they have to realize that things are getting a hell of a lot worse and that won't change unless we put a Party with a completely different agenda in charge.

They might have hated Bill Clinton, but his budget priorities/policies gave them 8 years of peace and prosperity. They may love Dimson, but his priorities/policies are killing them.
