1. Sigh.....
All those wonderful might-have-beens! And think how different the last two weeks would have been if Gary Hart and Federico Peña had been in charge of the aftermath.

We will never know at point just how much better off we would be if this was really true and our President was John Kerry a real statesman

3. Great list!
I was happy for a moment thinking about how much that cabinet could restore our image in the world.

What about Robert Kennedy for the EPA? And, just because I'm curious, who would you pick as Secretary of Peace (assuming the Department of Peace was set up)?

6. For Secretary Of Peace....
I'd pick (or hope that Kerry would pick)

Jimmy Carter.

I guess you weren't planning on Kerry getting a second term.

9. Remember this was before the election.
If I thought James Carville would have taken the position of WH Chief of Staff I think he'd (Kerry) pick him.

The WH Counsel is just the lawyer that advises the President. Shrum wouldn't have had much say on policy matters, just legal matters.

18. Normally, I would be posting a nasty retort about election fraud,
but...yeah. M.B. Cahill would be the LAST person I would want to see in charge of Kerry's staff.

I thought there was some rule about being out of the military for ten years. I might be wrong though.

11. If you read the begining you'd see I made it BEFORE the election
It was all just a guess.

The election was stolen, but you have to come back to reality and see Bush dosen't care and ain't resigning. Bush & Co. love power and money way too much just to wake up one day and hand the keys to the White House to Kerry. You're living in another world if you believe that is going to happen.

It's time to get over 2004. It's 2006 we have to prepare for now.

14. It's time to get over 2004. It's 2006 we have to prepare for now.? BS!
I refuse to "get over" 2004 (or 2000 for that matter) and fully support the efforts of the Greens and Libertarians and Rep. Conner to fight in the federal courts and House Judiciary Committee to right the wrongs.

16. Good Luck...
I don't know what you think is going to happen "IF" the courts "right the wrongs" of 2004. It's not like Bush is going to resign. And even "IF" he does that still means a Republican will still be President until Jan. 20, 2009.

2006 & 2008 that's what it is about buddy.

28. May be you should get over it with Kerry and focus on what is important
now: getting Romney out of office, for exemple. You sound more or less like a broken record.

And what does that have to do with the DLC, anyway?

32. Kerry's furthest left of the DLC, and further left than most nonDLC....so
why pretend he represents the DLC when he doesn't?

Would you prefer that NO left voices within the DLC pull back against the voices of the right pulling ever more towards the center?

It was centrists in the WH, governors and legislators who kept pulling rightward throughout the 90s.

Thank undergod for strong voices from the left who at least curbed the greater onward force of the centrists.

Absolutely! Let it go, let it drift further and further right and join the party it rightfully belongs to.

40. He was a star "New Democrat" while in office. Dean used the praise of his
former position when he was battling Al From during the primaries. You can probably access the press release from Dean at the time from one of the Dean sites.

I've never been able to access past lists of former DLC members as they only seem to list those lawmakers currently in office.

It would be odd that they would heap praise on Dean as a great example of a New Democrat in 2000-2001 if he wasn't even a member.

It doesn't count, apparently. It's like that was another Dean, somehow.

Sometimes I'm not sure Dean folks actually know the guy they support all that well.

I would hunt it down, kill it with my bear hands, drive a wooden stake through its heart, and bury it under 50 tons of concrete.

30. Except - for the millioneth time on this board - Clark CANNOT
be Secretary of Defense.

Federal code does not allow someone to serve as Secretary of Defense until they have been out of active-duty military for 10 years. Clark, if this were the 2004 Kerry White House, would have only been out for four years.

Put him in at State. With his diplomacy skills and Rolodex, he'd be fantastic there.

However, I still want to see him president.

then Clark would be National Security Adivsor and Bob Kerrey would be Secretary of Defense.

That 10 year rule is stupid anyway. They should change the rule for people like Wesley Clark.

42. Please prove your claim. And while you're at it, please name ONE other
lawmaker who HAS A RECORD of investigating and exposing more government corruption than John Kerry.

It would be interesting to find anyone who has countered the BFEE more than Kerry has in the actual historic record. Please share.

I like ya, robbed, but, if you're going to attack the man who has EFFECTED this nation's HISTORIC RECORD more positively than many politicians put together, then you should provide proof that he's actually in league with the evil ones as you claim.
