CROSSFIRE: Kerry fake hockey game good, Dean honest about Iraq bad
I want to vomit! the "snow fight" made me ill, too. So explain to me how Kerry's FAKE hockey game is a thing of praise and Dean's true statement about Iraq being in worse shape now is bad?

That is it we are moving to another country! Kerry folks if you can't see that THEY want your boy so bad their crotch is on fire, you deserve him.

If Dean nor Clark doesn't get a good showing tonight, I am supporting Edwards. If it comes down to a Kerry/Edwards ticket, I'll vote, I'll register other people to vote but then we are leaving this stupid fucking country. Thank god my grandfather is famous and my husband is smart enough to go to any grad school in the world.

Bye Bye USA

11. Political best and worst
The best was Kerry's FAKE hockey game and the worst was Dean's TRUE statement about Iraq.

Germany is pretty liberal, we might like it there. We thought about Canada and we would only be a few hundred miles from NJ so we could visit my grandparents. Apparently switzerland is not a place for free spirits. I could dig the Neatherlands, but don't know if they have any decent chemistry schools.

17. Canada is indeed great
but on a programme like Crossfire its important that you have a 2 sets of ideological purists writting the script so Carville (who loves Kerry) could choose that as good, while Novakula could choose to attack Dean.

3. Kerry has done this hockey game before, it's for charity
Kerry does things like this. Why do you describe it as "fake"?

He plays hockey and supports Dennis Leary's charities.

20. If Bu$h steals another election, we are gone.
It might take us 6 months to set it up but don't doubt for a second we won't leave. I don't want to be around for Farenheit 451.

I would miss my family, but then we would try to get them over later.

WE WILL NOT STAY HERE!!!! I have a husband that I love and 2 children, if we are safer/free-er in another country that is where we will be.

I feel very bad for those that do not have the opportunities that I have.

screw Kerry, he is their wet dream!

"but then we are leaving this stupid fucking country."
"Bye Bye USA"

How very sad. Have you found some PERFECT nation we all don't know about yet? The USA clearly isn't perfect, but some OF US will stay and make it better! Just like our families before US. Sorry you feel it's so awful here.

It was a true statement by Dean, but the wrong time to say it.

29. When is the right time to say it?
Is there ever a right time to question this administration on anything? If so, when and who will do it? Seriously, I have been waiting three years now for any one of our dem leaders to come out strongly and bitch-slap this administration for anything from Leakgate, to cronyism, to lying about war, to secret energy meetings. This is what has attracted me and many others to Dean; it's not anger, it's frustration at telling the truth at "the wrong time."

19. I understand your frustration.
I don't think Kerry's hockey game was fake, maybe played up a little. I heard a commentator the other day say the goaly was "generous" to Kerry. LOL!

What you really mean, as I understand it, is that the corporate media will not let a candidate criticize Bush for 9/11 or Iraq. They've painted Dean as a hothead and Clark as senile whenever either makes a TRUE statement about 9/11 or Iraq.

With other candidates, they are...let's say...generous.

The RWers Novak and Tucker sat there and bashed and bashed and bashed Clark and Begala and Carville didn't even try to defend him. I'm so disgusted. I hope NH slaps these people silly! :grr:

28. Melody, is that why they declared his candidacy dead for months drying up
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 05:41 PM by blm
his fundraising? Is that why Dean got a press plane last summer and SEVEN national covers? Countless network attention?

Have you ever even studied the last 30 years and how the GOP operatives have tried to take Kerry down? It's even on the Nixon tapes. It was ramped up when Kerry investigated and exposed Reagan and Bush's illegal activities in BCCI and IranContra.

What makes you think they want to face Kerry? Especially after they deliberately tried to sabotage his campaign for most of last year?

Please answer these questions for once.
