DEMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RIP-OFF TOO
Now is the time to contact your DEM Senators and Reps and let them know that their jobs are on the line too. THIS IS THE BIGGEST RIP- OFF IN THE HISTORY OF THIS COUNTRY.

The number one problem on 9/11 was the inability to communicate. We were told that the department of Homeland Security would set up a network of satellite communications so this would never happen again. Well, they did not and they are saying now that the number one failure here is the inability to communicate.

Where did all that HOMELAND INSECURITY money go? Where was it spent? How many DEMS had friends who got no-bid contracts? Our Congress went along with this shit. Repugs and DEMS alike. Demand answers!! We want the details of this budget, we want to know where our money was spent. Throw all the bums out and get representatives that actually work FOR THE PEOPLE, not to line their own pockets!!

Go Howard Dean!!!

1. Let's contact the Republicans first.
We're getting even more Bush apologists lately.

2. It's hard to admit that you are right.
My Dem., Denis Moore, voted for CAFTA and Bush's War on Iraq.

4. If their asses aren't on the line too this will all get swept
under the rug. Hold everyone's feet to the fire. If the weak suck dems hadn't gone along with the war and this Homeland Insecurity fiasco in the first place, this would not be happening.

The surest way to get these guys off their ass is to make it clear that they are gonna pay too! We want answers, we want the DEMS to stand up now!

3. How much corruption has the Republican media shone on Democrats?
Republicans are the majority Party in Congress. They do the war profiteering and corruption. They obviously don't give a shit about the general public; public service is not a priority to these criminals.

6. Repugs may be the majority but they are not alone.
My Senator, Wyden, sits on powerful committees and he has continued to go along with all of this. He also voted for CAFTA and NAFTA, The War, Homeland Insecurity, etc. They are all making money off of this, they are all playing CYA. We need representatives who will stand up and make noise even if they face defeat in the next election. We don't need CYA cowards. Hold all of their feet to the fire and we will get results. We are being ripped off and WE WANT ANSWERS!!!

This is such a rich country and yet we lack good schools and medical care for so many people. NO should make that clear. NO didn't even have the money to get those people out of there. THIS IS A NATIONAL DISGRACE AND THE WHOLE GOVERNMENT, NOT JUST THE REPUGS, NEED TO PAY!

We have the power to vote these guys out of office and they need to know that if they don't turn things around, we will do just that. The DLC is afraid of people like Howard Dean. They are afraid to tell the truth, rock the boat and do what's right. After all, they might lose their jobs too. DEMAND ANSWERS. DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY. MAKE ALL THE BUMS PAY.

GO HOWARD DEAN!!!!

7. The Republicans are those who control the agencies
that awarded the money. The Democrats on the oversight committees have been vocal about both the lack of good emergency plans and how would you deal with the aftermath of a major terrorist incident at a port city. Kerry spoke about how (then) 3 years after 911, we had simply wasted time - he was correct, but it was taken as politics.

The following link contains part of Kerry's questioning about the lack of planning this last July. Having hear the audio, he was furious that there still was no plan - a terrorist would give no warning, nature gave a few days. So, our federal government, which turned down international help because of hubris, is not ready to defend us.

8. They speak out but not with a united voice.
The DEMS need a message and maybe now, the country will listen. I am a Dean supporter because he has a progressive message. He has been saying for a long time that the Dems need to decide what their values are and get the message out there. There are too many old conservative Dems who are controlling the Dem party and they are right up to their eye-balls in this cronyism and backslapping. We need leadership now and we need people who are willing to call it the way they see it and let the chips and votes fall where they may!

10. He's a progressive
This is not a double standard. It's reality. Why are Dems so reluctant to look at themselves? I have been a Dem my entire life. My mother was head of the Young Democrats in Oregon when I was a child. My aunt was the assistant to Representative Edith Green, a great Democrat and a great woman. That was when Democrats were Democrats and Republicans were Republicans and they differed in their approach but, all actually had the best interests of the country at heart, not the lining of their own pockets. Mark Hatfield was our governor and, while my folks didn't vote for him, they didn't hate him either.

We have some GREAT dems out there telling the truth but, until we unite and stand up for the American people, we are not going to be effective. Dems can't talk out of both sides of their mouths, criticize the war but work to secure choice contract for their friends, criticize the massive spending in the highway bill but vote for it anyway because they managed to get "pork" for their state too.

We must unite, we must get an honest and caring message, we must stand up for what is right at all costs. We must speak with one voice!! If we don't we're just more of the same.

11. How 'bout we get Bush and the GOPricks out of office first?
Then we can straighten out the Dems. The GOP are the dangerous ones.

12. Agreed, but unless we speak with one voice, how
we gonna get them out. Dems unite now! Stop allowing the Republicans to set the message, get one of our own. Don't allow the Repugs to shout us down! Don't allow them to co-opt our message. They are brilliant at this. You watch and see, they will come out now calling for investigations into "how it all went wrong". They will controll the committees investigating and they will try to sweep it under the rug. DEMS CANNOT GO ALONG WITH THIS. THEY MUST UNITE, THEY MUST SPEAK OUT, THEY MUST SHOUTS IT OUT SO LOUD THAT FOR ONCE THEY WILL NOT BE OUTSHOUTED.
