Will Katrina Put the Brakes on the Pentagon's 9/11 Celebration?
And I do mean celebration. (Personally, I find the thought obscene.)

Is something like that politically tenable at this point? Can they really go on with parades and a Clint Black concert now? Are they that callous?

2. I Think It Would Be Inapropriate

to remember bushes first disaster he could have avoided if he could read while his underfunding of the Corp of Engineers contributed greatly to this disaster.

3. Yes. They will keep it going.
They will just say it is for 9-11 victims, Iraq, and the hurricane victims. Somehow they will make all three tragedies related to each other. P.S.Clint Black=Republican Hack

That's a WHOLE lot of news cycles! Besides, anyone not rescued in New Orleans will have starved to death by then, and we can celebrate the deaths there in addition to the 3,000 who were killed in NYC, plus the extremist theorcracy created by the Iraqi invasion! So rock on, 9/11-Palooza--PARRRR-TAY!!!

6. Anyone taking bets?
Maybe someone should post a poll on this, and we can see how on target we are.

I'm betting it goes on, and not only 9/11 is invoked, but also NO and Katrina, and they will be spun so as to make anyone who had disapproved of or criticized Bush in any way to be unpatriotic.

Just a guess.

7. It's a Ghoulish Celebration..meant to
Spread more lies and propoganda. I would think they'd find some way to keep it on. Afterall, they're not getting any political points for Katrina.

11. I am probably in the minority here...
but I hope the party is on. It will draw even more attention
to how obscene and ignorant this administration is...

if that is even possible.
