Is He Going to Stand On the Roof of the Superdome With a Bullhorn
And Threaten To Kick Mother Nature's Ass?

Has Rove prepared the media event?

I mean, we already have the meaningful look out of the window, a la 9/11-

3. Beat me to it...

I instantly had a flashback moment to watching _Tool Time_ when Tim fell through the roof after a manly speech.

5. Well, he's no longer concerned about Mother Nature - as Mother Nature is
now "on the run." :eyes:

I understand Father time is the real threat.

Thanks for the slight chuckle - much needed.

10. Pachamama (Mother Earth in Quechua) is kickin his Neocon Ass
In 1997 while I was in Equador on a trip into the Amazon, a very wise Shaman said to me that the people who want Pachamama's blood (oil) will start great wars. He then said that we in the North (the northern hemisphere - they see the world as North/South versus us seeing it West/East) need to "change the dream". He said it wasn't about the destruction of Pachamama and "the environment", but rather it was about the destruction of humans.

"Pachamama was here long before humans and she will be here long after" he said to me. "And if the humans who are abusing her piss her off enough, she will shake them off like a dog shakes off fleas".

Looks like Pachamama is pissed....What scares me is that little emperor standing there with his bullhorn saying to Pachamama "Bring it On"....:scared:

18. The amazing thing is that this Shaman had never been outside the
Amazon in his lifetime, yet so many of the things he said back then have been coming true...

Meanwhile, I don't think Pachamama is done with us humans on this planet that we are abusing...I think she is just getting started....

PS: Your welcome :) It was nice to be able to share that story...I kept thinking of Mengehue (I think that is how his name is spelled) today and many of the words he spoke to me.... :hi:

21. Unlikely -- they can't assure his feet will stay dry
IIRC, they made NYC build a wooden walkway for him to use for a speech after 9/11 so his feet wouldn't get muddy.
