Bush's Obscene Tirades Rattle White House Aides

http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_7267.shtml

While President George W. Bush travels around the country in a last-ditch effort to sell his Iraq war, White House aides scramble frantically behind the scenes to hide the dark mood of an increasingly angry leader who unleashes obscenity-filled outbursts at anyone who dares disagree with him.

“I’m not meeting again with that goddamned bitch,” Bush screamed at aides who suggested he meet again with Cindy Sheehan, the war-protesting mother whose son died in Iraq. “She can go to hell as far as I’m concerned!”

Bush flashes the bird, something aides say he does often and has been doing since his days as governor of Texas.
Bush, administration aides confide, frequently explodes into tirades over those who protest the war, calling them “motherfucking traitors.” He reportedly was so upset over Veterans of Foreign Wars members who wore “bullshit protectors” over their ears during his speech to their annual convention that he told aides to “tell those VFW assholes that I’ll never speak to them again is they can’t keep their members under control.”

White House insiders say Bush is growing increasingly bitter over mounting opposition to his war in Iraq. Polls show a vast majority of Americans now believe the war was a mistake and most doubt the President’s honesty.

“Who gives a flying fuck what the polls say,” he screamed at a recent strategy meeting. “I’m the President and I’ll do whatever I goddamned please. They don’t know shit.”

14. Is it bogus or is it reached a boiling point...
...where pressure has built to such a point that aides (probably low level) are disgruntled enough to start leaking.

Let's be real. Since the election all the news has been uniformly bad for shrub. If it had not been totally the idiots fault I might actually feel sorry for him.

If it is true, it does bring up the Strangelovian thought that this man's sanity is all that keeps this world from nuclear disaster.

Considering the reality disconnect that this mis-administration has previously shown you have to wonder...

3. Not surprising...
but holy shit! He's going to out "Nixon" Nixon! Soon he'll be wandering the halls of the White House talking to ghosts of Rutherford B. Hayes... and making Condi Rice get on her knees and pray with him...

Wait, wait, it's all a bad flashback!! :freak:

10. I know...
folks are saying the source is not credible ( and I know no differently, I'm a newbie here) but if you have read anything in depth about the Bush family you will have to agree that this story is not at all out of the realm of credible. He has the type of mentality presented in the article, even if the writer is taking some liberties here.

And thanks for the welcome!

16. Look the place CHB also has mesage boards
which make for fasinating raedying as some of the people posting there ARE DC insiders. This is the kind of story that I suspect is true, but the so called Main Stream Press will not cover.

Some say it is not a valid source, I suspect that just like with Nixon, (we truly learned how out of it he was in the final days AFTER THE FACT) Bush is hitting the sauce again and he is exchibiting the signs of paranoia that Nixon exchibited. So my advise if people don't think it is valid, they are free to their opinion, but bush has flipped the bird and has done other things that fit the profile. CHB is full of insiders... that I can tell you.

Oh and welcome to DU

17. It is highly probably that this story reflects bushie's behavior
Edited on Sat Aug-27-05 03:26 AM by DELUSIONAL
Nixon's language was very course the phrase expletive deleted ran though any White House transcript.

More than likely bushie uses the same sort of language and he calls people names -- he called a reporter an "ass hole" over an open mike.

Discredit this publication and this reporter -- who cares???!!

My guess is that something like this is happening -- because bushie is a spoiled rotten frat boy and his is really pissed that he is falling in the polls and no body really likes him.

He will never be more than an immature 10 year old boy in the body of an old man. He never grew up and he never will -- he is incapable of mature thinking and behavior.

It's certainly in his nature...

But everything I've heard about CapitalHillBlue makes it sound pretty incredible as a source.
