Go cheer them on as they enlist in the military to serve in Iraq!

Man, you gotta love them for standing by their principles. And they've put together a really fun night to celebrate their enlistment, too!

Got plans on Aug. 16?
Want plans?
Join the Young Republicans at the Phillies game that night!

The Phils will be playing the Washington Nationals starting at 7.05p (as usual).
Happy Hour at McFadden's beforehand (6p - 7p)! As an added bonus, the National
Anthem will be sung by University City's St. Francis deSales Choir.

A good excuse to see a ball game!

I understand all of the Young Republicans will be signing up to fight in Iraq that night, so even if you are a Democrat or Independent, go to the Phillies game that night and cheer them on in their "noble cause."

Gee, I sure hope that someone has called the local recruiting offices. They may need to call in extra support to handle all the young patriots...

first thing I'm doing in the AM is callign the recruiters and letting them know some YR's are ready to enlist!

Man, you Democrats sure are funny! HAR HAR!
I'd like to see your C.O. cards; I bet you don't have the balls to get one.

Hit too close to home, Suzanne? Let's put it more simply. All sorts of Young Republicans in this country are in support of what I see as a failed war. Yet they're not signing up to serve in what George Bush calls a "noble cause." Sure, they'll sit at their computers and go on the internet to slime people like Cindy Sheehan, who lost her son in Iraq, but you don't see all that many Young Republicans signing up for this war.

Recruitment is down. There are severe problems facing the military recruiters, chiefly that most Americans have come around to the notion that this is a failed war. But Young Republicans are still overwhelmingly in support of the War in Iraq. So why don't they enlist? And if they are all together at the Phillies game, what more perfect time is there?

go up and down the aisles passing them out, as though they were lineup cards...

2. DU Philly season ticket holders: donate your ticket to a recruiter 8/16
The best sacrifice you can make to "encourage" Repuke chickenhawks to put their money where their mouths are and enlist!
