If I were Wolf Blitzer, I would resign in shame....Situation Room

Watch the stupid promo. Read the newsletter...it makes it sound like Dean was on the show, but he wasn't. Wolf made it sound that way, but then just mentioned his being in NH today. That is BS

I always wondered if Wolf were just simple-minded, but if he stays on this show....well, never mind.

What a stupid show, and how manipulative...terror terror, martial law, then more terror terror.

Edit to spell a word correctly. This show is shocking, and I forgot how to spell as a result.

2. But Wolfie is incapable of shame, so he'd never resign.
I imagine he thinks he's a stand-up journalist, following in the immortal footsteps of Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite.

7. The Cable Networks Might As Well Just Have
Dancing "W"astika graphics zoom across the screen. The nakedness of their attempts to implement BushCo Psyops is astounding. This is the "golden age" of high tech propaganda.

If you see him on The Daily Show and Real TIme. This guy shows what a total airhead he is. It's really pathetic.

12. Ok, from the letter there about the show.....tell me what this means.
"Tell me more, Tell me more."

"Summer days are decidedly not "drifting away." "Charging ahead" is more like it -- with all of the activity today it seems like there are a whole lot of people in Washington pretending that it is September, not August. President Bush signs his Highway Bill today; Jeanine Pirro formally announces her bid to take on Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in New York; DNC Chairman Howard Dean travels to New Hampshire for a fundraiser; it is Day Number Three of CNN"s "The Situation Room." All that -- plus the nomination "process" for Judge John Roberts which seems to have outgrown "skirmish" proportions, with telltale "battle" signs looming -- including unhappy Democrats, an ongoing ad frenzy, and some conservatives who may have fallen of the band wagon.?"

NOW..night before last Wolf announced Dean would be on as well as Guiliani the next day. Guiliani was one, Dean in NH was mentioned. Dean was not on.

Now, this sounds like he is going to be on today, but no mention has been made. What is said in the note above is what Wolf mentioned yesterday. Is he using this to get people to watch? It is wrong to make it sound like someone will be on when they are not?

I think this is called manipulation and sensationalism. This is an awful show. I would not watch any more no matter who was on.

14. I agree, the show is crap!
I couldn't leave it on for more than 2 minutes. It's coming to the point that the only time I turn on a "news" channel is for Olbermann.

15. Good Old Leslie!
Leslie "Wolf" Blitzer is a complete half-wit! Why do good reporters like Peter Jennings have to pass away, and yet the Wolf Blitzers of the world remain...utterly baffling!

20. Jon Stewart took a dig at the Situation Room tonight as well.
It is like having 5 windows open on computer at once with flashing ads and streaming and pop up videos. It is a lousy show.

22. Actually, I find the show " alarming"
The name is taken from the "situation room" in the WH where the POTUS and top military advisers meet when there is a military "situation" occurring.

The set of the show is equally distressing. Behind Wolf is a global screen, like what is in the real situation room for military commanders look at & use for making military decisions.

This is no less than more of instilling a terra mind frame on the public. I find it offensive and a prime example of propaganda.

This is not an innocent crappy show. This crappy show has an agenda, and quite frankly, it creeps me out.
