Last question in Scotty's briefing - did leak fit treason law.
The very last question in Scotty's briefing - from I'm not sure who, but he sure sounded knowledgeable - was 'did the White House review the laws sufficiently to determine if Karl Rove's actions met the criteria for treason?' Sounds like some of the press are starting to catch on.

Looked like that question shook Scotty up a bit.

LOL!

6. Someone should have addressed Gonzales and his loose lips...
The Attorney General can comment on the investigation but little Scotty can't? Right.

Peace.

16. from the transcript
Q Yes, thank you. There has been a lot of speculation concerning the meaning of the underlying statute and the grand jury investigation concerning Mr. Rove. The question is, have the legal counsel to the White House or White House staff reviewed the statute in sufficient specificity to determine whether a violation of that statute would, in effect, constitute treason?

MR. McCLELLAN: I think that in terms of decisions regarding the investigation, those are matters for those overseeing the investigation to decide.

Q Thank you.

MR. McCLELLAN: Thank you.

5. Scottie should've said: "That's for a jury to decide."
Scottie, would you like a nice, long rest, away from those nasty, awful reporters? Wouldn't that make you feel s-o-o-o much better?

Okay, go ahead and say it next time.:spray:

7. Holy Smokes - it's OUT THERE.
They've actually started invoking the "T" word.

Well, how 'bout that? Wonder who it was?

We may have entered a whole new ballgame if the press begins to ask about possible treason. YIKES!!! Hey, snotty - I'd find a reason to "spend more time with the family" really quickly here, if I were you... The ship is starting to sink. Let's watch the rats.

11. I guess it depends on how you define "war".
Has Congress declared war? No. Does George have an ongoing, never ending war on "terra"? Yes. Are our soldiers getting killed and civilians being slaughtered in bombings and gun battles? Yes.

But for George and his neocon friends war is whatever is convenient to their purpose.

see "I'm a war president" quote.

However, if you're working at McDonald's in one of bush's new manufacturing jobs, you might not realize we're at war. But if you're in Iraq, and people are shooting at you, and trying to blow you up, you might say we are. All just a matter of perspective...
