Think about it. Rove's appeal could run through 07... maybe longer, if his gay attorney plays the game slowly enough.

So, Bush could probably claim "Well, I ain't gunna fire him til he gets his appeal through. Of course I'm going to give my Chief of Staff the benifit of the doubt and let the great US court system run it's course."

That'll piss off the 75% of the people that surveys say think Rove should be fired now, but... well, people have a short memory. They'll probably be on to something else by then, and they'll go "Oh yeah, that Rove guy.. appeals court, huh, well... okay."

Then Rove floats off til about 2008, gets a presidential pardon when no one cares cuz the next idiot is taking office... and, that's that.

Squealer is a fictional pig from George Orwell's Animal Farm. Squealer was a close companion of Napoleon. He served mainly as Napoleon's "propaganda minister". When the animals suspected that the pigs were breaking the laws, Squealer justified their actions. For instance, when the other animals wanted to have the milk and apples, Squealer said that milk and apples help the pigs think; so, eating the apples and drinking milk would prevent Mr. Jones from returning.

Throughout the book, Napoleon and Squealer break the Seven Commandments. To prevent the animals from suspecting this, Squealer preyed on the animals' stupidity and altered the Commandments. Orwell used Squealer to mainly show how some governments and politicians use propaganda to get their ideas through.
