Hmmm...not sure what this means but in the USA Today Letters....
They have the section on the Rove issue separated off (which they usually do for letters in response to previously run lead stories). All 3 of the letters they included are anti Rove and calling on Bush to fire him. Usually they will put at least 1 dissenting letter in the name of balance. I wonder if they just didn't get any or what?
This coupled with Crooks and Liars site pointing out the anti-Rove letters in the Murdoch owned NY Post make me wonder if I was wrong and people are actually paying attention to this and keeping it alive.
the letters they printed agree with their own stated Editorial position. Last week they ran an editorial written by the founder of USA Today, which called for the resignation of Rove.
I have a feeling that the letters to the editor on this issue are probably greater than 10 to 1 expressing this same viewpoint. If that is the case, no need to put the occasional opposite viewpoint in. Note that the NY Post (I think it was) had an article supporting Rove, and all their letters opposed their position. People are angry.
5. It's really maddening to watch the nation lag behind. Yes, the
co-conspirators have to be taken care of... but DU has moved beyond Rove. Others are only coming up to Rove. They don't know the story behind Rove. Yet!
Maybe it is best to list all the possible laws that may have been broken and explain them to prepare them for their next level of understanding.
