While I appreciate the fact criticism is arising at all, I don't like the tone and direction it is taking.

This commentary is based on the assumption that Bush knew none of this was going on under his nose, the coralary of which is that he would have taken measures to punish those responsible if he had known. I don't believe these are safe assumptions. One can only hope Fitzgerald is actually considering this.
