Who cares if Rove was the Originator or the Confirmer?
What earthly difference does it make? None! All this latest discussion has shown is that Karl Rove was part of a concerted effort BEFORE the publication of the original Novak column to out Valerie Plame, punish Joe Wilson and discredit/warn the media away from a story they did not want covered. What is so hard to understand? This in no way absolves or lightens any perception of Karl Rove being up to his ass in alligators in this matter.

1. "learned from novak" is this weeks "didn't know her name"
Just GOP talking points that don't affect the investigation or the grand jury.

Let them scream that "Rove is off the hook"

Maybe he is, but we'll see what the grand jury does.

2. Is the pressure on Rove letting up?

I can't believe how easily people are duped. Tell me all this shit isn't over.

3. We all knew this was WH payback
and those bastards are famous for getting back at people. When Rove calls Chris Matthews and tells him Joe Wilson's wife is fair game, what do you think his intentions were?

4. Doesn't make it any less illegal
How he found out is another crime worth looking into...
but no matter how he learned of the info...
he still broke the cover of an agent of our intelligence service.
That's treasonous.
AND
they've been covering up and obstructing justice for over two years !!!!!!!

Y'know those little republican talking point memos packed with lies...
there's one stack of evidence proving deliberate obstruction.
Everyone who had anthing to do with those deceptive memos
should be indicted and put behind bars for a long time.
(including e co-conspirators like Faux
and other reich wing propoganda outlets)

5. People are forgetting that Rove perpetuated the leak
He told Chris Matthews that Plame was "fair game". Excuse me?? This guy, with a security clearance, had the ability to put a stop to this threat to our security. Instead, he purposefully chose to compound the leak by giving his approval to go ahead and out her. The Dems, in my opinion, aren't being hard enough on Rove. They're calling for his firing, but not making the points that need to be made. Sound bites aren't enough to make the case.
