Hey remember Jeff Gannon? He was reported to be the Plame
leaker first. This just makes Rove and Gannon closer bed buddies.

I think this administration gets away with so much scandal because there just isn't enough time to finish reporting the first one when the next one comes along.

The election fraud in Ohio was replaced by the Jeff Gannon Story which was replaced by the Downing Street Memo with is now being replaced by the Karl Rove/Valerie Plame story, (which has an interesting sub-plot about her husband and yellow uranium). You just can't make this stuff up - but what a good mini-series it would make huh?

With all this going on who needs a Tom Cruise or Brittney Spears?

Jeff Gannon

From dKosopedia, the free political encyclopedia.
"Jeff Gannon" (sometimes cited in news transcripts as Geoff Gannon) whose real name appears to be James Dale Guckert was a White House-credentialed fake news reporter "Jeff Gannon" from fake news agency Talon News which appears to be more a political organization than a media outlet. He was cited by the Washington Post as possibly having access to an alleged internal CIA memo that named Joseph Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame, as a covert CIA agent. He was well-known for asking loaded pro-Republican questions at White House press briefings.

about the gay-male Bush-White-House prostitute "journalist" that the
Republican propaganda machine has consistently pandered to: Jeff Gannon/ James Dale Guckert.

2. But even if true, who leaked to him?
Who let him see the CIA memo? And who let whoever let him see it, see it?

3. Who? Who? Whoooooooo?

Cried our Owl relative. She could see through the darkness and fog, and soon sorted things out.

There is a moral compass, Owl screeched. At the center are honesty, caring, sharing, and respect. Forgiveness -- and its companion virtue of remembrance -- are the pathway to the center of this healing compass.

Who? Who? Whoooooooo?

4. Rove blurted it out in a moment of passion to Gannon.
Wouldn't Rove have access to it? Maybe not?

Geeze now I am really confused. First there had to be a leak at the CIA.

5. He was also known for promising to leave no marks...
only impressions.

Yes, he appearantly had access to the information in the documents, he may have even seen them, who knows. He absolutely referenced them in his interview with Joe Wilson. He was questioned about this by the FBI, I believe. I think the press is simply leaving that one alone. Aside from the fact that it was an embarassment to the real journalists, I think it really pissed a lot of them off and that could explain some of thier recent fervor in the attack on Rove. Everyone knows Rove put Gannon in the Press room. He's the only one with the power to do something like that and a motive to see it done. He may not have been slipping him the salami but he was definitely well in bed the "Bulldog". Regardless, it would definitely be embarassing to Mr. Rove if people were bringing up Mr. 8+ cut. We should media blast the old gannon stories and add a little insult to injury.
