So, why hasn't he already been fired?
For two years the White House has been denying Rove's involvement with the Plame outing. The Cooper notes prove that he was.

So, what was the basis of the White House denials? Either a) Rove lied to Bush or b) Bush lied to the rest of us. I can think of no other choices.

It sometimes takes a while for even the simplest of logic to sink into people's heads, but it's inevitable that most will eventually reduce the situation to those two obvious alternatives. And that, dear folks, is why Rove's fate is sealed. He's a goner.

1. when you run the show with a guy who is MIA with a heart condition
the only person left to fire you is yourself. And, Karl isn't going to do that.

3. The only way to get fired from this administration
is question the idiot's policies.

5. If he doesn't fire Rove we need to juxtapose his
line of "Anyone in my adminstraion..will be fired" and asked you lied about that so did you lie about the intell being fixed for going into Iraq? We need to set up a pattern of verifiable lies to show the public.

6. Or, to do something that would actually uplift this country's citizens...
But that one is too frightening and repulsive a prospect for this gang..none of them have tried that yet.

4. Why hasn't Bolton's name been withdrawn as the UN nomination
This is the BUsh administration and Bush is a spoiled rotton brat who whines and kicks his feet until he gets what he wants - which is what the puppet masters want him to do. He's not the one who makes those decisions to fire Rove or withdraw Bolton's name.

7. When Rove is ready, he'll fire himself. He is bush's brain and...

9. Because Bush doesn't even have the keys to the copy machine
let alone the ability to lead the gov't on his own.

10. Because there would be no George Bush without Karl Rove,
and there would be no Karl Rove without George Bush. It's a very sick, twisted, symbiotic relationship. If Rove simply resigns or is fired, I expect him to still be influential in the administration, although it will have to be done on the quiet. If Rove goes to jail, the George Bush "presidency" may deflate like one of those punching bags when you let the air out of it.

That would be very sad.

11. As if firing him means he won't STILL be calling the shots.
He needs to sit his fatass at GITMO for the summer and a hopefully active hurricaine season or 10.
