1. I expect to see a lot of Dean supporters pony up.

I mean, since he was supposed to get the party "off corporate money" and "back to the grassroots", they'd better be the first to open the checkbook.

5. I just wrangled a donation

for DU from my (apolitical) wife. I already told her that my next donation was going to be to the DNC. Maybe next month.

Of course, if my books do well, I'm going to be doing a lot more political crap in the future.
