just had their producer on who did a search of blogs - conservative, liberal and Muslim and searched al jazeera tv & web pages

He confirmed that most the stories and commentary on Durbin supposedly "damaging the troops and the US" was on conservative blogs claiming the "apology" should not be accepted because the "damage by his comments has been done" and that al jazeera already had broadcast all over. AND that there was no mention of Durbin or his comments on al jazeera TV and only small brief AP comment (in Arabic) that a Senator had apologized for some comments on the lower portion of their web page.

Ron Reagan of course thought that was very interesting and the conservative bitch on the show with him didn't say a word after the producer gave the results (shut her up real good).

So, the ONLY DAMAGE Durbin caused was in the right-wing-nuts heads!

that don't know how to search blogs and al jazeera to FIND the truth!

Durbin I guess didn't acutally apologize but he shouldn't have caved, he and his staff should have found the same stuff this producer did or any one of us on DU could find (although we would need a translater to check the al jazeera sites) and REPORT THE FACTS.
