American's dying in Germany
What was the conclusion of the suggestion that Americans injured in Iraq, but dying in Germany (& elsewhere) are not being added to the list of soldiers killed in Iraq?

Just curious.

Tia.

1. The conclusion was that it's total bullshit
Go to www.icasualties.org

Then click on "Fatality Details"

Then hit the drop down menu for the "Place of Death" filter at the bottom of the page. You'll see several German hospitals listed there. Pick any one, and you'll see the names of soldiers wounded in Iraq who died in Germany. All these names are part of the official war dead.

Anyone who claims that soldiers who are wounded in Iraq but die in hospital outside Iraq AREN'T counted is a goddamn liar.

Why haven't the families spoken out about their soldiers not being on the list?

5. Oh, didn't you hear the new theory?
The thousands of excess casualties all come from Central and South American countries, where people don't know about anything, and certainly don't follow up when their healthy young US soldiers who are sending them money disappear off the face of the earth! :sarcasm: Never mind that this requires the insurgents in Iraq to miraculously mow down these immigrant/ non-citizen troops at a rate sometime 3 times as high as citizen troops (who the Pentagon MUST report, so the theory goes). Liucky for the Pentagon that those insurgent I.E.D.'s have such a proclivity towards our non-citizen troops! :sarcasm:

(No, really, wait to you hear someone spout this nonsense...they're quite convinced of it, despite the complete lack of evidence and the implicitly racist assumptions it brings along with it. It's an astounding contortion of thought to say the least, but you know how it ends: "How can you believe anything they say? If you believe Rumsfeld, then I wonder whether you belong at that OTHER site," etc., and similar accusations.)

4. I've heard that over 6,000 American wounded taken to Germany
....for treatment have died. That would bring total battle deaths to over 8,000 since the beginning of the invasion of Iraq.

from a goddamn liar.

Impossible on numerous counts, and has been debunked here often. Please post your source and we'll go ahead and debunk it again.

on the numbers.

Let me first say I ABSOLUTELY SUPPORT AND TRUST LynntheDem and her colleagues' site. They are true Patriots! http://www.icasualties.org/oif/

Having read MANY ARTICLES in the German Press about the medical staff MELTDOWN at the severity of injuries and numbers "passing through" Landstuhl and your *misanthropstration's capacity to LIE...

What is overlooked are the INJURIES. Lotsa folks still be home and breathing who, courtesy medical technological advancement, in earlier conflicts would have been LONG GONE. Those numbers are VERY FLUID in the Ami press...

Another issue is, MERCENARIES. Mebbe we talk abit more about that after you've seen this:
