The Take Back America Strategy
I've been thinking about this for a while (and even posted it before) when again, someone asked me tonight on this board, what can the Dems actually DO?

This is it: TWO THINGS and two things ONLY:

First, have all the Democratic Congressmen and Senators Fillibuster EVERYTHING. NOTHING gets done, period, until IMPEACHMENT hearings are held. This will force the 'NUKE' option by the Republicans and the Dems can then clear themselves of any further bloodshed that follows. As they Repubs take the country further down the road to RUIN, their own internal battles will tear their party apart. They will start lobbying the Dems to help them in their causes. We will then have the reigns of leverage back simply by being needed by one side of the repubs or the other. But that leverage will not gain us anything UNLESS we use it to further splinter the republican party.

Second, FORCE the DRAFT issue. Democrats are already trying to force this issue and America is certainly NOT VOLUNTEERING for war. If this happens BEFORE 2006 elections, Republicans can kiss their majority GOOD BYE.

That's about ALL we have as far as leverage goes.

4. So...should we do this?
Should we ask our Democratic leaders to apply this strategy?

I don't hear any better ideas... in fact, I don't hear *any* ideas at all.

5. There is no way to "force" the draft issue
the pukes will quickly vote it down and slime us.We need to keep a level head.
