A response to those who claim DSM is "old news"?

Saying the DSM's are "old news" is like saying that Alexander Butterfield's announcement about the White House tapes in the Watergate hearings was old news. Sure, we all knew Nixon was saying that stuff. What's news about the fact it was being taped? :shrug:

I think the media are using that excuse because they flat-out missed the boat.

2. The media is in a total bind.

If the DSMs are "old news" then it is a confession they knew Bush was lying us into a war. If the DSMs are "new news" then Bush is certainly impeachable by any measure.

3. And, if it's old news

I'm sure that the media outlets will have no problem pointing us to substantial stories they ran over and over again during the summer and fall of 2002 through the winter of 2002-03 and into the spring that said the justifications for the contemplated invasions were a total load of bushwa, and how the Bush administration was just fabricating a pretext for launching an invasion that was illegal under the laws of the United States and in opposition to internation law.

Right? Show us some of that old news, guys. We'd love to see YOUR record on this.
