1. Er
Article said it is over religious reasons why the kid won't do radiation treatment and says she feels fine. Last I checked, a person could refuse medical care if they wanted. This happens when an Abrahamic religion tries to rule a state or nation. Liberal libertarians should be all over this. We need our freedoms back.

2. I read more about that yesterday ...
The 12 year old girl was retested for Hodgkin's and it was found that the cancer is still present. She has been readmitted to the hospital for another round of chemo -- so radiation treatment is not even the issue now.

Apparently, the family has tried to find a doctor to agree with them that the girl doesn't need further treatment to save her life, and they can't find one.

This is a strange case. The parents are religious fanatics who believe she is "cured". The girl's life can be saved with treatment and she will certainly die without it. I believe it was her doctors who petitioned the courts for custody to treat her cancer.

The parents were on TV yesterday and both looked like cretins.
