Democrats just love to attack their own
by Joe in DC - 6/5/2005 08:22:00 PM

Why is it that Democrats just love to attack their own? Howard Dean
makes a fairly innocuous criticism of Republicans. The response? He
gets dumped on by leading Democrats, John Edwards and Joe Biden,
both of whom are (surprise, surprise) thinking about running for
President themselves. The "controversy," such as it is, is over
these remarks, as reported by AP:

...

Meanwhile, as we posted below, judges are under attack. Leading
Republicans and their top allies have condoned violence against the
Judiciary... now THAT is harsh language most would consider very
serious. And what's the GOP response. Pretty much nothing.

The GOP will hardly criticize each other over really vital life and
death issues. Democrats leap to eat their own every chance they get.
It's easier. And, if you're John Edwards or Joe Biden, criticizing
Dean keeps your face on the TV.

I feel like a kick or two. :kick: :kick:

1. I think Howar Dean needs to tell him that he DOES speak for us
Pink Tutu Biden speaks for the Tom Delay's and other kleptocrats that sit in Washington DC.

2. Sorry to be ignorant, but what did Dean actually say?
I know I should look for the right link, but can I be lazy here and just ask you?

3. Ha! He said many Republicans haven't worked a day in their life
Edited on Mon Jun-06-05 11:51 AM by usregimechange
He was talking about the GOP leadership and although he should have made that clear by using the phrase "Republican leadership" it is true.

6. Oh, ok. They think Dean insulted middle class Republicans
And I bet Rush Limbaugh is getting lots of mileage out of that comment too.

What Dean should have said is that * has never worked a day in his life. If it weren't for his rich family, * would be the guy at the highway exit ramp with a sign and a plastic bucket.

4. They irony is all the Bidwards heads around here turn around and
tell us that we're wrong for speaking out about their actions!!!

It's ridiculous.

Biden and Edwards were wrong. They did it in a public way and they're both savvy enough to know what the headlines would be.

5. biden and edwards are on the CRACK
when they cant even get any base in their own party and dreaming of being president...

both are hacks imho.....

dean needs to disown them asap and go on a rant about weak dems like lieberman and his new drinking buddies biden and edwards... We need to stay on message and continually attack the republicans calling them on their bullshit. There is no letting up people.

How many more seats do you want to lose?
