The Clark announcement in New Mexico. Is it Richardson or NARAL?
I read in another DU thread that the Clark campaign has a big announcement coming up in NM today. Someone mentioned that the Clark campaign might get an endorsement from NARAL.

Right after that, I checked my email. In my email I got a message from NARAL. Holy synchronicity, Batman! Here's what it said:

Welcome Bucky!

Thanks for signing up for NARAL Pro-Choice America's Choice Action Network (CAN)! As a part of CAN, you will receive information about threats to privacy and a woman's right to choose with easy and effective ways to make a difference and get involved at the local and national levels.

With anti-choice leaders controlling the White House, U.S. Congress, and many state legislatures, it's more important than ever for pro-choice Americans to mobilize to protect the right to choose.

Only I never signed up to join the Choice Action Network! Did they get my email from the Clark campaign? I know Clark wants to boost his numbers among women, so NARAL was a smart move. But if he gave them my email I'm not amused. I'm still supporting the guy, I think he'll be a great president and can realign the country back to a Democratic majority. But dammit his campaign is gonna catch some shit from me if what happened is what I think happened.

4. It's a powerful pro-choice group
If Clark can land their endorsement that would be great for him.

6. Richardson won't endorse anyone
with the race still so competitive. It could be NARAL, or some other endorsement.

7. Richardson cannot endorse anyone
He is the chair of the convention, therefore he must remain neutral.

8. I, too, receive email from most of the campaigns.
Kerry, Dean, Clark & DK. I haven't gotten anything from NARAL. I was a contributor years ago but haven't given them anything, email address included, in a few years.

Political committees trade lists all the time. If you've signed up for almost any liberal email list you'll be getting it from most of them.

My POS brother signed me up at Freeperville and now that address is just about useless.
