I had a Ceremony with corresponding pomp and as much Naval Tradition as I could cram into one hour. A retiree can request laudatory correspondence from higher ups, their State Governor etc. I requested and received my Presidential Letter of Appreciation to a military retiree signed by President Clinton (we had to write to his office in New York.) I cherished having it read verbatim especially the part that stated from Commander in Chief Bill Clinton, President of the United States (in 2002.) Since that day I have made every effort to be a pain in the ass to every constitution hating conservative I have the displeasure to come in contact with, an extremely easy task in South Mississippi. I inform them that my enlistment oath is still in effect "to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC." Thank you for letting me share.

I had to stick my computer in the shop. I had three years of gunk and crap and viruses that had to be purged. I have some very active virus and spyware scanners now. It was worth the down time.
