Too Many "News" Stories. . . Why?
Seems calculated to me. Quickie bu$h "press conference," Deep Throat revealed, and Arthur Anderson conviction overturned by the "Supreme" Court? Coincidence? I doubt it.:tinfoilhat:

1. I give up. What do Deep Throat, Arthur Andersen got to do with Bush?
Deep Throat's identity has nothing to do with him, and AA's conviction has little to do with him.

Bush's press conference occurred and was quickly announced, IMO, because otherwise nobody would remember he was still president, and they never give the press enough time to think up anything good. Same old story.

2. I think the point is...
that all this other news, breaking right now, comes just in time to obscure Amnesty Internationals call for senior Bush officials to be investigated, arrested and prosecuted for Human Rights Crimes.

4. Maybe, but I disagree......
I think the reason the news conference is today is because everything Bush said was the fault of Congress, and demanding that it gets to work "when they return from vacation".

Old Bush shows up for work on a Tuesday and is so proud of himself for putting in a half week, he starts bashing Congress for not getting anything done with his idiotic bills and partisan appointments and non-negotiable demands.

3. How many news stories is too many? How many is too few?
Not everything that happens is planned by Karl Rove.
