bu$h-As-Groucho Posters Banned In High School

Sounds like the kids (plural) were denied their free-speech rights, guaranteed under the Constitution, and ONE (singular) student (o.k., and a RW principal) had a problem with it. Sounds like the kids are pissed.

1. Do ya think that ONE student will be upset
if ONE student writes a letter of protest about prayers at graduation and the school decides not to have any?

3. I think this sort of RW assholery
Merely breeds cleverer and cleverer smartasses. At least that's how I remember high school.

5. If that kid got all bent out of shape looking at a picture
of the chimp as Groucho, he'd have a stroke if he surfed DU or Bartcop. Sheesh. Get a clue, kid. The whole world hates the dipshit. Turn off FAUX and look around.

6. Looks like the kid's are gonna have their say...
:headbang: "...The principal asked the drama students to come up with new posters. The new designs all feature a silhouette of Bush and a burning cigar, along with inscriptions such as "Free Expression for All (unless you are in high school)" and "What First Amendment?"

7. How about this line
Edited on Fri May-27-05 12:43 PM by KurtNYC
Principal Kenny Lee ordered 100 posters removed from the campus of El Camino Real High School in the Woodland Hills area last week on grounds that they promoted smoking and "endorsing one ideology over another."

Translation: The principal will try to hide behind anti-smoking rhetoric (as if seeing Bush as groucho makes smoking look cool) and then of course he means 'endorsing sanity over his ideology.'
