John Conyers "Freedom of the Press" Forum on C-Span Saturday

Just looked at Saturday's (5/28) schedule and see that the John Conyers forum on the Media will be airing at 8:00pm EDT.

MUST SEE TV. I listened on AAR but the dang commercial breaks drove me nuts!

which have press release, summaries, links to audio and video clips, media coverage such as newspaper articles, and supplemental materials - including prepared statements from the participants and more.

According to a statement yesterday in Conyers' blog, the scheduled CSPAN broadcast at 8 PM Saturday is a tentative one and may change, possibly with an earlier showing. We must watch the CSPAN schedule carefully to be sure we don't miss it.

By the way, an intensive 4-thread campaign at DU was partially responsible for convincing CSPAN to cover this event. We should be proud!

I like the 3rd question session around 15 min. in... asked what to do if the media wont come to press conferences.. "you march down to the Washington Post office and DEMAND to speeak to the editor..."

I think this is EXACTLY what all 89 members that signed Conyers letter on the Downing st. Memo should march to the Post and stay till they are heard!!
