Okay, I've got to share my phone call with McConnell's office.
Just this minute I got a phone call from Slimy McConnell's office apologizing for not getting back with me earlier regarding tickets for Chimpy's Social Security tour in Louisville back in March or April. (What's a couple of months between friends?)

Funny thing, I got two tickets from this A$$wipes office the day before Commander CuckooBananas hit town. I attended the farce and reported on it here.

I had originally requested the tickets via email and then ended up calling his Louisville office and got the tickets. The chick who called today said they were "running a little behind in answering their email." Ya think?

Anyway, I shared that I did receive the tickets and that I had attended. She then launched into how lucky I was, hope I really enjoyed the meeting, etc. I told I certainly did not enjoy hearing the president speak. After getting over her shock she just had to ask what the problem was. I told her that Bush and McConnell both lied through their teeth about Social Security, the war, the economy, the deficit, healthcare, etc. I then told her that I hope she could give Slimy a message for me, that I thought he was a lowlife shit and I could not wait to work against him in his next election. Nothing major but I got such a nice sense of calm getting that out of my system.

All she could say was, I'm sorry you feel that way. Told there was thousands more just like me out here and we won't forget a single thing the republican party has done to hurt this country and my beloved state.

Just absolutely amazed me she thought I would "understand" with them being two months late in getting back to me about tickets. Guess I'll never make his Christmas card list.

2. Good luck getting off that list
My dad still gets a Christmas card every year from one of our Senators, and he passed away in 1990. :eyes:
